Plaid Terrain

I’ve had this throw on the sofa for two weeks now, and the mix of alpaca and wool is noticeably softer than most blankets I own—no itchiness at all. The stripes give it a subtle texture that makes it feel more expensive than it is, and it’s held up well through a few washes so far.

I was a bit skeptical about a mixed alpaca-wool throw being soft enough for the couch, but the undyed fibres actually feel incredibly gentle against the skin. The stripe detailing adds just enough visual interest without being flashy. It's become my go-to for chilly evenings.

The fringed edge gives it that slightly rustic look I wanted for the back of the couch, and it hasn't shed at all in two weeks of daily use. Knowing the fibres are undyed makes it feel like a cleaner choice too.
